VillageSoup, transforms Community News businesses to Community Expo businesses. TheSoup creates a virtual community expo where affiliated newspaper reporters provide open source journalism with citizens amplifying the news and businesses publishing their own releases and offers. Local, independent media companies license the VillageSoup brand and platform and share their experiences with other licensees around the globe.

TheSoup goes beyond print and online news to create a place for community based discourse, debate and commerce. It becomes a virtual community expo with local journalist speakers, citizen attendees and business exhibitors. Daily online content and weekly printed wrap-ups keep citizens online daily and reading weekly.
